How quickly could I expect to be up and running with a Netalogue Solution?

Lead times for new projects are typically 4-6 weeks for small projects, with larger more complex projects often taking several months or so depending on requirements. We are certainly one of the fastest mid market solution providers, particularly so for ecommerce projects requiring extensive integration or content works which regularly benefit from Netalogue’s unique Data Gateway technologies.

What involvement will my company have whilst the project is being developed?
|
|
Once development work starts on your project we will provide you with secure access to our development servers which will enable you to check your new site as we develop it. We will encourage your feedback at all stages so we can quickly discuss and undertake any modifications you may require as the project progresses rather than waiting to perform a review after everything has been completed. For larger projects more formal project milestone review meetings will typically be included in the project plan.

How is the price and delivery time calculated?
|
|
If you have a requirements brief or scoping document you should email it to our new business team. If you do not have this information then we have templates which will help define your requirements. For most projects one of our experienced ecommerce analysts will meet you to discuss your requirements in detail and get a full understanding of your needs. From that meeting we will produce a form quotation and specification which will document all the features you require. The quotation will indicate the earliest possible start date for your project and the project duration, to proceed you need to sign the project order form and return it to us along with a first payment which is typically 25% of the order total. Once we have received your order we will schedule work on a site design (if you do not already have one prepared) which will be finalised prior to the project development start date.

How much will a Netalogue solution cost?

Netalogue are committed to ensuring simple, predictable and transparent fixed pricing for all works. Netalogue ecommerce solutions do not encompass complex revenue sharing or transaction fee models. The cost of your solution will of course depend on the scale and complexity of your requirements. As an approximate guide smaller solutions typically range from £15k, whilst much larger solutions can exceed £100k. Many customers benefit from our rental arrangements which enable them to finance the cost of a solution over a period of time thereby spreading the start-up and operating costs.

How do we provide Netalogue with product information and accompanying images?
|
|
Netalogue will typically create a data template (usually using something simple like a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet) and setup some of your products for you. Netalogue will also provide you with guidance on resizing your product images for the web. If you do not have any free staff resource to prepare data and images in house Netalogue can provide a complete data and image service to get you up and running as quickly as possible.

I want to integrate my solution with our internal systems and/or some of my biggest customers purchasing systems, how and where will this work be carried out?
|

Before starting your project Netalogue will analyse your systems and obtain the necessary information from your customers. The integration development work will typically be undertaken at Netalogue’s offices and if required Netalogue engineers will carry out site visits to install and test any software that cannot be setup remotely.

Some of my customers use an online marketplace to do most of their purchasing, will I be able to join the marketplace?

When I am ready to launch my new e-business website will I need to find another company to host my site?

When my new ecommerce web site is live will I need any additional software to manage it?

Depending on your specific solution the admin controls will facilitate maintenance of customers, approval/rejection of new account applications, viewing/processing of orders, credit card processing (where automatic online clearance is not required), configuration of customer purchasing rules (where e-procurement add-ons have been selected), product maintenance, setting up of online promotions and full web site reporting, customer registrations, product activity (inc. items not checked out) , in site searching (inc. failed searches which may indicate products you may want to stock), etc..

How will I be able to track visitors to my site?

As part of the Netalogue managed hosting service you will receive extremely detailed reports showing your sites web activity broken down by many different parameters. As well as showing you the country of your visitors it will also show you a town and city analysis so that you can track the effectiveness of any geographical marketing you have carried out. By comparing your reports you will be able to see exactly how much new traffic is coming to your site.
